Audio Profiles
Create, manage, and automate audio profiles to instantly switch between different audio configurations for work, gaming, and entertainment.
What Are Profiles?
Audio profiles are saved configurations that include all your audio settings - app volumes, microphone settings, output routing, and AI features. Think of them as presets that you can switch between instantly.
Why use profiles? Instead of manually adjusting volumes and settings every time you switch tasks, create profiles for different scenarios and switch between them with one click or automatically.
Each profile can include:
- Per-app volume levels - Custom volume for every application
- Output routing - Which speakers/headphones each app uses
- Microphone settings - Noise suppression, voice enhancement, input device
- AI feature toggles - Which AI features are enabled
- Automation rules - When this profile should activate automatically
Creating Profiles

Click Profiles in the left sidebar of Jyv Desktop.
Create new profile
Click the + New Profile button.

- Calendar events: Switch during scheduled meetings
- Time of day: Different profiles for work hours vs. evening
- Network connection: Home vs. office vs. coffee shop
- Window focus: When you focus a specific application
Setting up automation
Edit profile
Select a profile and click Edit.
Add automation trigger
Scroll to Automation and click + Add Trigger.
Configure trigger
Example - Activate "Work Calls" when joining Zoom meetings:
Trigger Type: App Launch Application: Zoom.exe (or Zoom.app on Mac) Condition: When in a meeting (optional) Action: Switch to "Work Calls" profile Priority: HighSet priority
If multiple profiles have triggers that could activate simultaneously, the one with higher priority wins.
Smart detection: Jyv can detect when you're actually in a Zoom meeting (not just the app being open) for more accurate automation.
